I used to play the whole game but now I just play for the scavenger hunts, I really enjoy them. They’re fun & therapeutic/relaxing. Fun way to pass time & it’s the best scavenger hunt in the whole store

Scavenger Hunt should have its own app. Two Dots is fine but the Scavenger Hunts are the best!! Unfortunately they’re not always an option and when they are, you have to purchase gold to even complete them. I would definitely pay for a Scavenger Hunt app though! There’s nothing else quite like it in the App Store!

I really do not like this game, after a certain level they make it impossible for you to win! On one level I only needed three blue dots the whole board was covered with dots but guess what, not a single blue dot! So many times the dots I need just don’t show up!! Tired of playing levels over and over and over again with no win! Aggravating game, will be deleting!

Fun game. Took me a couple years, but they only come out with like 20 levels once a month. All that’s left to play is the treasure hunts twice a week and the flip levels every two weeks.
  • Fun game but

This is a fun and somewhat captivating game, but it has way too many ads (almost all the same) and is deceptive regarding in app purchases. Don’t for a moment think you’ll be able to collect more gold permanently. It’s just a carefully worded way to buy gold one time.

I really love the concept and the challenges of the puzzles, but there is no way to earn the necessary “gold coins” to purchase tools to advance. They do offer some freebies for winning levels but they are few. In other words, you have to spend money. I got to level 140-something and my tools were all used up and I was stuck on a very difficult puzzle, so I gave up and deleted the app. I have a principle to never spend money on a game. Other puzzle apps I play have built in ways to earn rewards or virtual currency so as to be able to advance through levels, I have searched for something like this on “Two Dots” but have not been able to find this option. I guess if you want to play this game to the higher levels you have to either be a genius like the equivalent of Einstein, or spend money. I detest a gimmick like that so bye bye, “Two Dots.”
  • Not as advertised!!

I kept seeing this game as an ad while playing another game. In the ad it showed the game being played as a simple connect the dots type game being played wrong. So I wanted to play it right! So I downloaded the game and of course it wasn’t anything like the advertisement (I should have known bc it NEVER is) so I connected those colored dots to form squares FOREVER. The same frustrating strategy became increasingly difficult with popups wanting you to purchase more lives which you apparently have to have to progress to the portion of the game I saw advertised and wanted to play all along if that was ever going to happen anyway. I really wish the games would offer what they advertise!!! I uninstalled it.

I enjoyed this game but I am disappointed that recent updates have changed so there’s no way to acquire critical tools for playing without buying them now. You were able to use keys you accumulated to “buy” clusters, erasers, targets etc. but now it’s been changed and you can only use keys to buy pointless items, plus it says the offer refreshes in 4hrs making you think new items will be available but the clock restarts every time game opens. From the beginning I didn’t like the fact that the game didn’t provide a way to earn any “gold” without paying for it but at least the keys provided a slower work around which I felt was fair for those that want to play but not pay. I gave it 1 star to make a point that this is not a good game if you don’t want to pay money. If you are willing to pay, then this is a good game. There is a lot of variety and daily gifts but too challenging to play without being able to acquire the other tools at least once in a while as needed. I’ll be looking for a new game to play but will check in once in a while to see if it reverts back since this changed only a few days ago, mid Jan 2023.

Two Dots is a great game, but what I want from Play Dots more than anything is a full scavenger hunt game. No other scavenger hunt game on the marketplace competes.
  • Great Game but sad to see disappearance of latest, great feature!

I have been enjoying this game for about 2 yrs now, and REALLY liked the latest addition of the key store, as I have accumulated a lot of keys and felt the prior method of redemption was too limited in scope. The new key store was a great solution, but it has suddenly vanished with no explanation, as another reviewer (and perhaps several others) noticed. So I’ll reiterate the plea: please bring it back! I’m so sad to see if go! It did seem a bit glitchy in doling out the daily reward, but the key redemption options were so much more varied and useful! I really enjoy this game and highly recommend it as a good balance between puzzle/logic style and arcade-style, entertainment games. Only other issues I have with game are: 1) placement of button and lack of secondary confirmation makes it WAY to easy to accidentally spend coins on (unwanted) extra chances/etc. 2) it actually seems hard to “click” on/enter the next level; I’m never really sure where to hit the screen/button to enter it. 3) the daily history/streaks have been completely deleted for my twice for unknown reasons 4) the ads can get TV stick/glitchy to the point that you watch them and still receive no bonus, and lastly 5)In addition to wanting the ads for booster boxes to be reliable, I really feel they should be shorter: some drag on for 40-45 seconds. Also, I would be interested in a way to get an ad-free version that still offers occasional boosters (presumably for a cost). As long as it was a reasonable price, I’d be interested.
