Through my trials and tribulations I’ve transmuted all of my trauma into healing love. A god of life that G-d gives to me and I give to the world. All it takes to receive love from G-d is אמונה and darma something every human deserves.

I hate that I can’t respond to the developer. Yes I tried the three dots and I can’t schedule a email from the app. I’ve been with customer service for more than three hours trying to find a payment a customer made and was supposed to be instantly deposited into my account. I’m sorry but when dealing with money the customer service should be more on point. I am just ready for a new platform. I just am not happy at all. The app is horrible.

The app is alright. I hate that I cant access my templates or add expenses in the app. I find myself going to the website on my phone far more often than I use the app. I really just have the app to get notifications when clients make payments or sign contracts. Definitely needs more features that are available through Honeybook. I’d this was a review for the whole Honeybook program I’d give 4.5 stars.
  • No iPad Functionality

With all the improvements in iOS in the last few iterations, pretty much all large scale apps have figured out ipad functionality - not so with HoneyBook. It’s like they don’t care, honestly. To be clear - I love the program. The iPhone app is highly functional and not buggy. But sometimes I want to have greater visibility/control and the ipad version of this app just doesn’t cut it. It doesn’t even support split view which is pretty critical when working across apps. I get that I can just use it in safari but then it’s more of a pain to work on a website and also HoneyBook. If they can improve the ipad function I would absolutely give it 5 stars. We’ll see, I suppose.
  • Recent updates

*UPDATE* Honeybook has reached out about there being an issue. An update has fixed this and they advised to delete the app and reinstall! Now it works perfect again. Thank you! ——————————————- Whatever most recent updates were release, broke the app notifications. Before when someone would inquire, the honeybook app would immediately notify me. Now I only receive an email. All notifications through my phone are set the same as previous and are all turned on to allow homeboy notifications. But the latest update stopped them. Please fix!
  • Not client friendly

As a client, I hate honeybook. All of my vendors use it? Great! Not so much. Constant recertification checks, no client profile to manage all of your vendors in one space, just a hassle. I hope it helps small businesses keep track of things, but from a client perspective it just adds stress when things are already stressful enough
  • Mobile app needs better integration

The HoneyBook web app is the only way to really get work done. The mobile app is not full featured, and should be looked at as a companion only for basic check ins and replying to emails. There are quite a few things on mobile that make the experience disappointing. Ex. 1 - You’ve set an automation in the web app, and need to change it while out of the office. You can’t even see automation in the mobile app, so now you have to set a reminder to do it later when on the fully featured browser app and hopefully your client doesn’t get an email in the meantime from the automation workflow that they shouldn’t. The only option to remove automation in mobile is to archive. Not a good solution. Ex. 2 - you’ve set up a new project after an inquiry, and a potential client replies to an email from your automation. You go in to look for the project, but all you have is the client’s name from the email, and not the project name. You’re also out of luck, because your contacts don’t show links to projects in the mobile app like they do on the web app. The mobile app isn’t useless, but it’s limiting vs. the web app. That leaves me wondering why the mobile app isn’t addressed as a totally different platform, because it very much is. FYI, if I could get the same functionality from the web app in a mobile browser (phone or tablet), that would be a workaround I can live with. But the mobile browser version of HoneyBook is just as limited as the mobile app, so here we are.
