  • Nice indeed

Pretty good but it doesn’t have enough storage. When battling if I don’t catch the Pokémon it won’t let me continue battling. So we should get more pokeballs
  • More Gyms and stops

    By Red Orchid 15
Hi, great app. However can you add more gyms and pokestops at the Cadence Park in Henderson, NV? The park is 50 acres and in a new community. Thank you.
  • Not a true Pokémon Title though fun

    By Grand Master Skywalker
True Pokémon games were played on game boys and gameboy advanced, Nintendo DS, 2DS, 3DS, and now Nintendo Switch. That’s where you find real Pokémon games. Where you actually have real battles and not just tapping your Pokémon’s attack on a screen over and over again. Nevertheless it’s still a fun game when traveling to other states on road or out walking or hiking.
  • Great game, but often steals remote raid passes

    By TheSilentMajority!
I’m unashamed to announce my addiction to this game. There are enough game objectives to keep you busy for years. However, something that really ticks me off lately is often now when you use a remote raid pass to join distant raids, the raid will begin and kick you out within a couple seconds. This wouldn’t tick me off as bad if I got my raid passes back when this happened, but it’s happened to me 13 times in the last 2 days. That’s $13 that Niantic has taken from me without giving me anything in return. Fix the issue, and I give the game 4 stars Fix the issue AND refund me for lost passes, and I give the game 5 stars.

  • My favorite phone/I pad game

    By u=no+yes
I’ve loved Pokémon ever since I was six and now there’s a Pokémon game on the App Store. You couldn’t image how much I played this as a kid. This was one of the only ways I’d go outside.
  • Bad Raids and Giovanni

    By JayNanthakumar
I need more time, especially for Pokémon with such high combat power!😡 On top of that, let us battle Giovanni again to catch Shadow Giratina (Origin Forme) this time!😡 Also, return Meditite its egg already!😡
  • Everything we’ve ever wanted growing up!.. but I guess we forgot the best part, Battling.

    By glennallen1993
I give Pokémon Go a lot of props for their vision on the game. The idea of getting people active to advance further along and give that sense of “adventure” as if you were actually in the OG Gameboy games is everything we’ve ever wanted, at least what I always wanted, growing up. I have a lot of positive things to say about the game when it comes to the “catching” aspect. Constantly trying to find a better version of a Pokémon I already have (IV’s) and looking for those Oh So Rareeee shinny Pokémon! This part of the game is a blast when I have free time in my day. The shop is beneficial to assistance but this game doesn’t make me feel like I HAVE to spend real money to obtain any of the items available, in fact Niantic doesn’t force you to spend any money as long as you are actively defending gyms. They did a great job in this aspect but unfortunately this is where the negatives start… When you think of Pokémon what is the first thing that comes to mind? Battling. This is where the game, in my opinion, is missing the reminisce of the Pokémon vibes from our past. There is a complete lack of versatility and I feel like I’m CONSTANTLY playing a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors with a mix of who can smash the screen faster. After playing for a longer period of time I’ve learned about “baiting” and “charging” preparing for the next Pokémon that your opponent sends out. Even still after getting better at PVP (battling) I find myself never wanting to play it because of how “Vanilla” it is. I don’t fault Niantic for trying a NEW and more active battle system but currently I find myself bored and not even caring about the decent rewards you get from it. I would love to have more move choices like the old games so you can catch your opponent by surprise. Nothing like hitting your opponent off guard with a thunder punch or fire punch they didn’t know you had… Remember what I said in the “positive” section about finding better pokemon with better IVs and how it’s fun? Well when it comes to PVP throw that out the window! Perfect IVs are great for meta (elite) Pokémon and PVE (Raiding) but about 90% of everyone’s personal favorite Pokémon are irrelevant as they bring nothing to the table in battling. Because of the PVP (battle) system they have in place, if you have a perfect IV Pikachu and face off against a Pikachu with ZERO attack and high defense/HP… you lose every time. In conclusion I really like the catching part of the game, as there is nothing like it and brings back a lot of nostalgia. I love the raids and being able to participate without spending money as long as I’m actively playing! But the lack of desire to battle finds me disappearing from the game for a couple days-weeks. Add 3-4 moves to learn, slow it down a bit, and change the groupings of Pokémon who fit in a “league” so people who invest time in finding a better specific Pokémon (better IVs) are REWARDED like the OG games so it doesn’t feel so…. Bland. You know it’s bad when most BIG TIME content creators barely post videos or even mention the PVP aspect of the game. Stride to bettering the battle system and this game would easily be a 5 out of 5, unfortunately nothing has changed here in 6 years.
  • Great game

one of my favs. been playing since it came out. y’all should add in app messaging!!
  • Raid bosses

    By CuteyCatZombie
My only complaint is when you kill the raid bosses, it should stop counting down the time. If you kill the boss, you still have to wait an extra 10 seconds waiting for him to shrink and do his dumb animation before it acknowledges you can catch him. Otherwise if you kill him and only have about 3 seconds left, even if you technically killed him before then, you won’t be able to catch him because of the stupid countdown still going down while he shrinks which takes about 10 seconds. It’s really really reallllllly frustrating and not fair to those who don’t have the friends or time to do raids or find enough people for them outside of our already busy schedules. Fix this Niantic and I’ll change my rating.
